If you like to have a cocktail from time to time, leave your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and keep all money, plastic credit and cheques out of the casino. Grab only the cash you anticipate to use on drinks, tipping and few dollars you expect to lose and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You can have a success after a boozy evening out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hook a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Keep that account because it is as short-lived as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and wager. The two simply do not mix.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a tiny bit drastic, but defensive actions for drastic actions is necessary. If you play to win, then do not drink and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your money without a worry, then consume all the free booze you can handle, but do not pack credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your dead drunk head squanders all the cash!
Allow me to carry this a single step more. do not consume alcohol and then hop on to the internet to bet in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my house, however seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can’t consume alcohol and wager.
Why? Despite the fact that I don’t drink alcohol a lot, when I consume alcohol, it is clearly sufficient to befuddle my judgment. I wager, so I do not drink when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet when you do. Both create a dangerous, and costly, cocktail.
