If you like to have a beverage every now and then, keep your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your purse, your wallet, and keep all money, charge cards and cheques at home. Pack whatever money you expect to spend on beverages, tipping and few dollars you expect to throw away and leave the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You can have a win following a drunken night out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to catch a marathon roll at a hot craps table. Keep that story considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and gamble. These activities just do not mix.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel is a tiny bit excessive, but preventative actions for drastic actions is required. If you play to win, then do not drink and play. If you like to be wasteful with your money nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous booze your stomach can handle, but do not carry charge cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your hooched up brain loses everything!
Let me to carry this a single step more. Don’t drink and then jump on the net to gamble in your favorite online casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, however seeing that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
How come? Even though I do not consume alcohol to excess, when I drink alcohol, it’s certainly enough to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both create a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
