Learning From My Gambling Blunders

1st to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the net or at land-based casinos for many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are broke. Especially if you’re on a winning run. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you are just having a blast until you start to pay attention to your squanderings and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It never works. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the more you try the faster you lose.

When you notice that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, trust me, this logic almost never ever works. Say you’re betting on slot games, have an amount put aside prior to beginning your action. Don’t go over that limit, no matter how tempting. If you actually succeed, put that in a different canister. Don’t spend your profits no matter what. As soon as you’ve played through your original set limit, bail out. Head out, whether it is on the internet or at a brick and mortar betting house, don’t stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be a different day, another time.

Remember, betting should be exciting not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot afford the cost, do not even start.
